“Creeping Death” was released in November 1984 and was the lead and only commercial single from Metallica’s second album “Ride The Lightning”. The song was written from the perspective of the Angel of Death and describes the tenth plague of Egypt. The Metallica logo and the song’s title were added to the existing artwork, a picture which was originally spotted in Alvin Petty’s house by guitarist Kirk Hammett. This artwork is now available as a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle printed on high quality board.
